What to Eat in Dalyan

From blue crab to gilt-head bream and Muğla's yoğurtlama: the flavours you must taste in Dalyan.

Dalyan is known for its tasty and varied cuisine. Its restaurants and cafés mostly serve local dishes and seafood. Here are a few things you should try:

Dalyan blue crab

The first flavour that comes to mind in Dalyan is the blue crab. Caught in the Dalyan channel, it has become a symbol of the region — try it grilled or as a casserole.

Gilt-head bream

Fresh gilt-head bream from the channel is usually grilled or oven-baked. A must for seafood lovers.

Yoğurtlama

A staple of Muğla cuisine: fried vegetables topped with plenty of garlicky yoghurt. Simple, but it tastes even better in Dalyan.

You will also find other regional Turkish dishes and a rich choice of mezes. Ask our reception for dinner recommendations.
